Regional Workshop on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

A "Regional Workshop on the Role of Human Rights Institutions and Other Mechanisms in Promoting and Protecting Economic, Social and Cultural Rights" was jointly organized by The Asia Pacific Forum on National Human Rights Institutions (Asia Pacific Forum) and Hong Kong Equal Opportunities Commission (HKEOC) in July. The Workshop provided a forum to stimulate discussion and collaboration between government, non-government organizations and business in relation to the promotion of economic, social and cultural rights on a regional level.
